The Garden
English Gardens is Metro Detroit’s one-cease alternative for high-quality garden plants and supplies, flowering and tropical plants, recent-minimize flowers and customized-designed preparations, patio furnishings and garden accessories, in addition to landscape design and set up. The northern, French-model garden showcases parterres of germander and spectacular seasonal displays of spring tulips, and Korean chrysanthemums in autumn, all within an ellipse of Japanese holly. The start of Historic Garden Week dates to 1927, when a flower show organized by the Garden Club of Virginia raised a formidable $7,000 to avoid wasting timber planted by Thomas Jefferson on the garden at Monticello.
